Background: I’ve been making digital art since the late 80’s working in programs like DeluxePaint. Through the years I’ve had the opportunity to work professionally in a variety of digital creative functions including 2D graphics for 90’s era PC games, early real-time 3D graphics, digital illustration, graphic design, video editing, and virtual world content creation.
Under the Cryptifex name I intend to pursue my personal creativity unbound by any professional constraints. The pieces I’m creating as Cryptifex are all new, drawing on the experiences and skills I’ve collected over these 30+ years creating digitally.
I enjoy working with many forms of digital art creation including pixel art, digital painting / drawing, 3D modeling / animation, AI-assisted, generative, and interactive experiences.
I’m also a hobbyist game developer and musician, but I will go into that more in a later update.
